Fick Bros. Roofing & Exterior Remodeling Company did an amazing job for us recently. We have a 75-year-old slate roof, and they replaced our snow guards and a lot of flashing and broken slates around our chimneys and various roof lines. The crews were very knowledgeable, diligent, very polite, and were very diligent/careful while on our brittle slate roof. They used the best materials and the craftsmanship is excellent. They were very careful not to damage our landscaping, and they left the jobsite immaculate each day. If you have a slate roof, I would highly recommend Fick Brothers – you definitely get what you pay for!
Outstanding experience from start to finish. They did work to restore historic carpentry on the outside of my apartment in Fells point. They were on time, came in at the number that we agreed upon, and the work was exceptional. I cannot recommend them enough.
The Fick team offers many exterior services. We trusted them with softwashing and making exterior repairs to our one-hundred-year-old home. Their great reputation is backed by their excellent service! There is a reason why they are touted in local real estate listings. The before and after photos of our house are a little mind blowing. We will absolutely be working with them for a long time!
It was a pleasure to work with Fick Bros. Roofing & Exterior Remodeling Company. The professionalism was top notch from beginning to end. The estimator did a thorough inspection and pointed out the issues with my chimney. He presented the contract in a timely fashion and explained step by step what was required to do the job. The construction team was respectful and quiet. They worked seamlessly without being intrusive to our coming and going. They cleaned up my property, not leaving a trace of their debris. It has only been a couple of weeks, but the leak has not reappeared. I highly recommend Fick Bros for your roofing needs.
Fick Bros. Roofing & Exterior Remodeling Company is one of the few businesses that advertised replacing wooden shutters on older homes. The price was not low, but the best materials were used, and I could be sure that experienced workers would do the installation. They also matched the existing paint colors, which couldn’t have been easy. It took a while for them to receive the shutters and schedule the work, but I was consistently kept informed about where they were in the process.
Very professional team! Did an excellent job + were delightful to work with. We had some extra things we should’ve moved on our own, but Fick Bros. Roofing & Exterior Remodeling Company took care of it without complaint or charge. Highly recommend!
Always the best service and techs!! Thank you, Erica, for always being so accommodating.
Fick Bros. Roofing & Exterior Remodeling Company did good work. They did what they said they would do and met my satisfaction.
I have used Fick Bros. Roofing & Exterior Remodeling Company at my residence since 2015 for the following: new roof, new gutters and downspouts, brick chimney repair, replace wooden trim on front door, re-point brick steps, bi-annual gutter cleaning, and most recently an exterior soft wash of entire house. All of the work is performed in a professional manner, and I don’t have to worry if it was done properly. When the crew comes out to clean the gutters, they always let me know if there is something that needs my attention. If you want a first-class job, call Fick Brothers.
I have had several projects completed by Fick Bros. Roofing & Exterior Remodeling Company. The quality has always been great.
Estimator provided complete and detailed information on the process. Workmen were courteous and left the site clean and tidy each day. All communications were timely and informative. My replacement copper gutters and downspouts are functional and attractive.
Fick Bros. Roofing & Exterior Remodeling Company did a great job cleaning my windows and deck.
Fick Bros. Roofing & Exterior Remodeling Company is very reliable!
I would definitely recommend Fick Bros. Roofing & Exterior Remodeling Company to others and surely call them again if another problem arises here.
They have always done excellent work on our home. They replaced our roof and have done subsequent work. They did very good. We are very happy. Todd is very good at following up to see how things are going.
Very pleased with the way the job went. Extra repair and slate costs were incurred but foreman helpful in explaining the need. Would use Fick Bros. Roofing & Exterior Remodeling Company again if needed. Planning on using the maintenance service.
Competence and honesty. That might not sound exciting, but just wait. It’s expensive when you need to do home repairs. We worked with another local company to deal with some porch roof leak issues a few years back. It was cheaper but failed to resolve the problem. Fick Bros. Roofing & Exterior Remodeling Company did not mess around when they sent Todd to evaluate the project. Todd’s evaluation led to a real solution. Fick Bros. fixed the problem faster than their original estimate. I certainly don’t expect that, but what a good first experience. Speaking of first impressions, there’s more. You’ve got to make phone calls and interact with various people throughout this process. Ashley was our first POC. I left a message and got a call back sooner than I expected. It was friendly and quick to the point. She followed up as needed without any effort from me. Fick Bros. is not messing around. When Ashley was done, Kelly took over communication on the project. As I mentioned, it was completed in advance of the originally scheduled date. I think they had an unexpected opening due to a cancelled project. Lucky for us, but they clearly are focused on getting jobs done. I can’t believe that every project is going to go that smoothly, but Fick Bros. has my trust. They’re doing our porch next, and I’m looking forward to it. I don’t know about you, but that is not my usual attitude when dealing with contactors.
I called them for a leak in a skylight which they had repaired years ago. The estimate seemed high but because of reputation I chose them. The techs came on time, were polite, and immediately got to work testing for leaks. They did find the leak, showed me photos, and also noted some other potential problems. They made a practical and thoughtful repair which seemed very reasonable and also addressed the other issues as noted above. I was very happy with the work and feel that they are good value.
A few months ago, Fick Bros. Roofing & Exterior Remodeling Company repointed my chimney and installed a new cement chimney cap. I got to pick the mortar color and the new work blends seamlessly with the old mortar. I thought the price was reasonable and the work was of high quality. Since last year, I have also had Fick Bros do my routine slate roof and gutter maintenance and I have been exceptionally pleased with the experience.
Fick Bros. Roofing & Exterior Remodeling Company performed a softwash cleaning of our roof, gutter cleaning, and masonry cleaning of our stone porch and walkway. All around they were awesome. On time, very responsible, concerned about our being pleased with their work, reasonable in their pricing. We are very pleased and find it easy to recommend Fick Brothers to anyone looking for a reliable company to work with.
We have used Fick Bros. Roofing & Exterior Remodeling Company to install and repair roofs on our house and garage. The roof installation was well done and has held up well. Fick has also repaired leaks and fixed some incorrectly installed transitions and valleys. Never had another leak after their repairs. I also appreciate that their people are interested in long-term fixes, even if they cost a little more. Fick has excellent office help who do a great job of scheduling and keeping us informed if there are scheduling issues. With Fick we don’t have to worry about our roof.
Fick Bros. Roofing & Exterior Remodeling Company are the consummate professionals. From our sales rep to the guys who finished the job, they are a top shelf roofer. Super pleased with the work and will use them in the future when needed.
Easy to work with, knowledgeable, understood what I wanted, fair price.
Fick Bros. Roofing & Exterior Remodeling Company was a pleasure to work with. Our sales representative, Danny, was phenomenal!
Fick Bros. Roofing & Exterior Remodeling Company has completed work for me for many years and has always done a great job.
They did a great job and exceeded expectations.
I felt like the initial inspection and review of my problem were complete and very well done. I had multiple contractors come and look, but they were unable to resolve my problem. Fick Bros. Roofing & Exterior Remodeling Company was the only one that I felt comfortable using. I was very pleased with the inspection, the installation, and the process from start to finish.
I was VERY impressed with Fick Bros. Roofing & Exterior Remodeling Company! My plaster bedroom ceiling collapsed onto my bed in May. Luckily, I got out of bed before being injured. The insurance company said the cause was “hidden water damage” from the roof (i.e. so the insurance company won’t pay for it). I had estimates from several companies. What I liked about Fick Bros was that they gave me estimates on how to FIX my slate roof ceiling. The other estimate companies all wanted to replace it for a LOT of money. Fick Bros came out and fixed where the leakage was happening and then came back and fixed the entire ridge and dormers. The guys were always nice and skilled, and they cleaned up really well. And it was very HOT here to be working on a roof! They did a very nice job and the roof looks great. And their estimator, Danny Beam, came out to my house several times and helped me with a variety of things to get this done. Summary: Use these guys from Fick Bros! They are nice, know what they are doing, and don’t focus on how they can get more money from you. Check out their reviews too! All are very good! Other customers agree that the Fick Bros are great!
I sincerely appreciate the approach that Fick Bros. Roofing & Exterior Remodeling Company had to multiple projects. In the end, I had some roof repairs, some roof replacements, some porch repairs and a new railing and doors I had wanted for years on an upper porch completed in a most satisfying manner. The craftsmanship is excellent and the scheduling and communication was clear and considerate. Most importantly, the pre-construction advice and conversations were so helpful, and Dan took the time to understand the issues important to me and recommend solutions that suited my priorities. The products, warranties, and colors and details were all carefully explained and tailored for the different parts of the home. I sincerely appreciate the work and the communication.
My experience with Fick Bros. Roofing & Exterior Remodeling Company was very good! This time, they inspected the roof and did small roof repair. They did the work very well and the price was fair. My previous experience with this company was also very good: they repaired sidings and did masonry work. They are reliable and professional, and communication was smooth. I highly recommend them.
Fick Bros. Roofing & Exterior Remodeling Company are a fantastic company. Our salesman, Todd, was very professional. He was kind, informative and honest. He answered any questions we had. Anthony and his crew were skilled, precise, and prompt workers. Lastly, the office staff was helpful and knowledgeable too. We truly felt a family experience. We would not hesitate to reach out again.
Best company to work with on home repairs and service. We have worked with Fick Bros. Roofing & Exterior Remodeling Company on exterior repair in excess of 40k and they have always delivered with more than expected service. I highly recommend Fick Brothers. Ask for Danny; tell him Pierre sent me.
They did a good job installing our new windows and door and are prompt to respond to us.
We found the company through some online research. My dad had recommended softwash for my slate tile roof, which was looking old (the house was built in 1939). It was moss-covered in some areas and others looked like there was residue from trees around us. The owner came out (from Baltimore to DC), gave me an estimate that I thought was reasonable. After the work was done, I couldn’t believe the difference. Our roof is now pristine. A really great job; I’m very happy with how it looks. The team was great as well. Overall, very happy with the finished product.
Couldn’t be more satisfied with the service I received to repair my porch roof. From the technicians to the office folks. Fick Bros. Roofing & Exterior Remodeling Company was extremely responsive, efficient and affordable!
Everything went well. They did a good job.
Fick Bros. Roofing & Exterior Remodeling Company had a prompt response when a tree fell on our house and damaged the roof and gutters. They have quality service. The invoiced amount was consistent with the estimate.
Soft wash left an excellent result. Siloxane application did not achieve result desired, at no fault of Fick Bros. Alternate approach was suggested by crew leader.
We had a great experience with our roof replacement project. It’s a big investment but the quality of workmanship is worth it. Other firms may quote a lower price, but you get what you pay for.
They are remarkably professional and do high-quality work.
First-rate experience all around. Excellent value. Highly recommended!
I am very happy with the work Fick Bros. Roofing & Exterior Remodeling Company completed.
I recommend Fick Bros to neighbors, family and friends all of the time!
Everyone at Fick Bros. Roofing & Exterior Remodeling Company is always very courteous and professional. They definitely know their business and take care of their customers.
