Prevent gutter issues with regular cleaning.

You know you should clean your home’s gutters at least twice a year, once in the spring and once in the fall. But climbing up on a ladder to clean your gutters isn’t how you want to spend your weekend. Instead of taking on the arduous task of gutter cleaning by yourself, turn it over to our experienced professionals at Fick Bros. Roofing & Exterior Remodeling Company.

Gutter & Downspout Repair in Baltimore, Maryland

When you hire us for gutter cleaning, we’ll eliminate all leaves and debris from your gutters and roof. We’ll also clean and flush out your downspouts as needed and replace any missing outlet strainers or gutter clips.

We recommend hiring us for gutter cleaning twice a year, and you don’t even need to be home when we come to clean your gutters. We charge on a time and materials basis, and the cost of labor is calculated at an hourly rate.

Regular gutter cleaning is one of the best things you can do to maintain the roof on your home in Baltimore, Maryland. This service prevents your gutters from getting clogged, which can keep water damage at bay throughout the year. Additionally, a properly functioning gutter system can prevent moisture from infiltrating your foundation, possibly resulting in below-grade basement leaks.

"The quality of the work is always top notch.”

“Fick Bros. Roofing & Exterior Remodeling Company has been our roofing company since 2008. They routinely inspect our home exterior and make recommendations on required and recommended maintenance and repairs. They understand our need to budget carefully and always help us prioritize and schedule the work accordingly. The quality of the work is always top notch and completed with minimal disruption. We have neighbors who have opted to try "less expensive" roofers who work locally, and they have almost all reported being disappointed.”

Fick Brothers rebuilt our brick front steps which turned out to be more difficult than we originally thought it would be. They communicated with us as the job progressed, were able to deal with the difficulties of matching the original (old) mortar and achieve an excellent finished product.

I have to start this review with a shout out to Dan Williams, production manager at Fick Bros. Dan was thoroughly committed to making sure our extensive masonry and slate roof repair/maintenance project was completed in a professional and careful manner. Dan is a great communicator and an experienced supervisor. I'm also very pleased with Galen, the job foreman for the slate roof repair portion of our job. He treated this job with the same care and respect that he would have for his own home. This company as a whole takes their work seriously and it shows.

Fick Bros performed a soft wash of my north-facing slate roof one year ago. Immediately after the wash the roof was beautiful and sparkling, and I'm pleased to report that after one year, the quality of the cleaning has held up very well. Below are two photos: one before the soft wash, and one taken a year later. I would definitely recommend Fick Bros for this kind of service. Even a year later, I still remember the professionalism of the technicians who came, and the care they took of our large hydrangeas in the front.
